Job Description As a member of the performance engineering group, you will work closely with race and performance engineers to maximize tyre performance for both our race cars. Your Tasks Collaborate closely within the performance engineering team to analyse and improve overall car and tyre performance. Assist with all tyre-related activities both trackside and at the driving simulator (DiL). Verify the functionality of tyre-related vehicle sensors in data. Determine and monitor tyre related KPIs and derive optimum tyre usage using simulation and track data. Provide detailed and concise technical reports on tyre performance, including pre- and post-event reports. Develop, maintain, and validate mechanical & thermal tyre models used in the DiL, as well as offline simulation tools. Your Qualifications Masters or Bachelors Degree in STEM studies. Minimum 2 years of professional experience in performance engineering or data analysis in a high-level motorsport series (Formula E, WEC, etc.). A solid background in the fundamentals of vehicle dynamics. Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink and/or other programming languages such as Python, C#, C++. Experience in tyre modelling (thermal and mechanical) is an advantage. Methodical and analytical approach with an ability to propose creative and innovative solutions. Independent and well-organized way of working. A flexible approach to working hours and the ability to handle pressure. Willingness to travel extensively. Open-mindedness and exceptional teamwork skills. Good knowledge of English; knowledge of German is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
