About the role: The Clinical Specialist independently covers Intracept cases, training the surgical team on the safe and effective uses of the device. This person covers Intracept cases in the territory, region or at times the nation, as assigned. The Clinical Specialist works with the surgical team members to provide clinical product assistance to the surgeon. The Clinical Specialist will also provide clinical support for physician training and sales training programs. Join our vision to transform the treatment of chronic low back pain. Location: Ideal candidate will reside in the Provo (Utah County) or Salt Lake City (Salt Lake County) area. Your responsibilities include: Clinical case coverage, and support sales and marketing initiatives. Train the surgical team to assist in good patient outcomes and verbally support cases. Acquire and maintain current knowledge of perioperative surgical technology practice and hospital and ASC policies and procedures. Develop technical acumen to serve as an educational and clinical resource. Demonstrate appropriate interactions with all healthcare providers. Maintain and prepare equipment/kits for surgery and quality control audits. Troubleshoot equipment according to standard procedure. Ensure accuracy of received and returned inventory matches with shipping documents. Reconciles inventory/usage as well as missing inventory. Assist in the delivery of procedural training with physicians and medical staff. Ensure compliance with all company policies, including the quality policy, on label promotion and interactions with healthcare professionals. Other duties may be assigned. Required Qualifications: Experience in minimally invasive spine procedures utilizing fluoroscopy, CT and MRI is essential. High School Diploma or GED or associate degree with a minimum 4 years in a clinical specialist or related medical role, preferably in a medical device company; OR A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years in a clinical specialist or related medical role, preferably in a medical device company. Customer relationship and procedural skill development experience. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and insurance is required. Travel – up to 75%, driving most days, some flying, with periodic overnights. Must be able to walk, stand, sit, bend and lift to complete the basic functions of the role. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job involve normal vision. Preferred Qualifications: Strong verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to pivot and work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude. Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills. Able to build strong rapport with colleagues, physicians and healthcare professionals. Ability to visualize and translate 2-dimensional fluoroscopic images into anatomical 3-dimensional spaces. Proficient with technology (email, Word, Excel, and CRM software). Knowledge of spinal and/or orthopedic surgical instrumentation is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
