The Shift Leader will also be expected to perform Compounding duties on a daily basis and serve as acting Production Supervisor, in his absence. Serves as a mentor for production processes and procedures for team members, as well as helping to train new employees and conduct refresher training when needed. Assists in the execution of the operator cross-training, adheres to schedule and provides input to workforce plan to balance training and productivity On a daily basis, performs Compounding and Utility/Packer duties as assigned, ensures safe operation of all plant equipment Conducts daily safety briefs and stretching exercises, safety audits and quality audits on a daily and weekly basis in absence of the Production Supervisor. Acting Supervisor in the absence of Compounding Supervisor, Provides performance management input to Supervisor. Ability to handle heavy materials including drums (lifting requirement of up to 60 lbs.)
