Store Manager
As a Store Manager at Vans, you will be responsible for leading a team to achieve sales goals and maximizing store profitability. You will inspire and motivate your team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Strategically leading the team to achieve sales goals and monitoring sales progress and results against key targets.
- Modeling and fostering a consumer-centric mindset within the store and modeling selling behaviors through genuine interactions with consumers for the team to emulate.
- Attracting, recruiting, and hiring high-caliber, diverse talent and maintaining a strong succession plan within the store.
- Providing direct coaching, feedback, training, and supervision of associates.
- Managing expenses to maximize sales and profitability and leading an environment of productivity by ensuring the team has the knowledge and skills to meet store goals for sales and customer engagement.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3-5+ years of related professional/retail management experience.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Ability to meet business goals by driving results through store teams.
- Ability to coach and motivate a team to excel at sales and profit results.
- Proven communication skills.
- Ability to be solution-oriented and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
- A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
