Payment Recovery:
Assist project managers in recovering owed project payments.
Handle lien-related actions (mechanic’s lien, stop notice, foreclosure).
Legal Notices and Claims:
Receive legal notices, claims, subpoenas, and lawsuits related to insurance and contracts.
Coordinate legal responses and communicate with outside counsel.
Litigation Support:
Regularly liaise with outside counsel regarding litigation status.
Manage legal files related to claims and disputes.
Information Gathering:
Collect relevant information for claims and litigations.
Interview project employees as directed by counsel.
Financial Oversight:
Review invoices from attorneys, experts, and vendors for legal services.
Professional Development:
Attend seminars and stay updated on contract and insurance law changes.
Educate employees on contract and insurance matters.
