Job Overview:
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the facilities and surrounding areas. Your duties will include patching and painting communal spaces and private offices, assembling, repairing, and relocating furniture, and applying basic electrical and plumbing skills. A self-motivated individual with 2-3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs, with occasional heavier items.
- Climb ladders and operate elevated platforms safely.
- Maintain mobility throughout the entire shift, including walking and standing.
- Utilize tools and equipment following safety protocols and operational guidelines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and specifications.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
- Collaborate effectively within a team and work independently when required.
- Work in various environments, including office and industrial settings, with potential exposure to temperature variations and overhead hazards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in facility maintenance is essential.
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments is advantageous.
