**Description**

**Job Summary**

The Customer Support Representatives primary role and responsibility is to support the customers immediate questions, concerns and scheduled (placed orders) needs for all customers, including unassigned accounts. They will provide support through direct and indirect interface with the customer contact and Sales Service Representative.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned):

* Send acknowledgements with delivery information to customers after entering the sales order.

* Print pickers, file customer purchase orders, acknowledgements, and associated documents on a daily basis.

* Work with personnel from those departments to ensure the customers orders are handled in a timely and efficient manner so that delivery dates are met.

* Assist with various duties, key accounts and/or special projects as needed.

* Respond to all customer inquiries via phone, e-mail or FAX with regards to the following areas:

+ Enter orders into JDE and confirm promise date to customer.

+ Provide customers with SEIP Price and Availability as needed and approved by Supervisor or Manager.

+ Expedite customer orders per their request.

+ Research and inform customer regarding their specific returns and/or credits.

+ Provide SEIP customers, their customers, and all other inquires with samples and literature upon request.

+ Respond to customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.

+ Provide or refer technical assistance if needed.

+ Compile forecast data from customer order releases and enter into JDE.

+ Use various customer portals to acquire order release data.

+ Send advanced shipping notices as requested by various customers.

+ Submit PPAP requests to Quality department as needed.

+ Coordinate the creation and detail of special labeling requirements by various customers as needed.

+ Maintain literature inventory.

+ Maintain and update Spec Library.

+ Add customers to SCC site.

+ Enter purchase requisitions for non-inventory items, business promos etc.

+ Maintain price sheets.

+ Maintain customer contact information.

+ Submit item add forms.

+ Various other operational functions as needed.

* Perform tasks accurately and thoroughly.

* Demonstrate a positive customer service attitude.

* Contribute to Team Effort to ensure customers receive their products on time and in excellent condition.

**Minimum Qualifications and Requirements**

* Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.

* Minimum of 2 years of customer service or sales experience in a distribution and/or manufacturing environment.

* Basic knowledge of all SEIPs product lines is required

* Sensitivity to the customers point-of-view and concerns, and a demonstrated ability to efficiently solve the particular situation is required.

* Must have excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

* Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word required.

* Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and data entry experience required.

**Preferences**

* Bachelors degree from an accredited institution.

* Work experience in Heat Shrink Tubing industry.

* A multi-lingual speaker.

**Special Position Requirements**

* This role operates in a professional office and manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

**Physical Requirements**

* While performing the duties of this job the employee may be occasionally required to bend, twist and lift up to 50 pounds.
