Our suppliers are leading the industry by being innovative and releasing new Automation solutions that we introduce to the Wisconsin market. This role will focus on territory coverage within NE Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. As an Account Manager with Price Engineering, you will develop and autonomously manage your sales activities within a specified territory. Along with the skills set outlined below, your ability to be sought out as an expert to provide your customers solutions to their operational needs will be integral in achieving your critical objectives of maintaining and capturing new business. Essential Functions Work with your leadership to create a sales plan to develop a prospect list to capture new business Full cycle prospecting activities including qualification of leads, cold calls, and sales presentations Collaborate with knowledgeable customer service and technical support teams who will assist you in meeting and exceeding your sales goals Utilization of tools, resources and CRM to plan and manage time and territory Experience, Education, and Skills Bachelor or 2-year associate degree in mechanical engineering, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience; prefer candidates who are IFPS Certified Fluid Power Specialists or equivalent. 5+ years technical sales experience with at least 3 years in hydraulic fluid power system sales. Can read technical drawings. Can write technical proposals Application and troubleshooting experience with hydraulic/pneumatic products and systems: knowledge in fluid power preferred. Ability to manage territory and projected sales achievement through strong planning and time management skills Experience with value-added sales. Ability to establish, grow and maintain business relationships. Experience using and willingness to use a CRM for logging projects, and tracking progress of active opportunities. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and Word; willingness to learn other business software systems in support of the role. Entrepreneurial spirit and competitive drive to succeed. Strives to achieve and exceed sales goals.
