The Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) Program is excited to add a new member to our Operations & Sustainment (O&S) team. The O&S organization mission is to lead NGI Integration with the GMD Weapon System, lead planning and execution of field operations and sustainment (including support equipment design and development) and manage internal operations including program infrastructure and other key enablers (Security, Classified Cyber, IT, DE/1LMX).

The ideal candidate will have effective cross collaboration skills including coordinating across multiple sites, POCs and leaders to work tasks and close actions. Must be comfortable working in an environment where priorities can change in an instant. Candidate should be a strong team player; pro-actively reaching out when guidance is needed and constantly keep projects/products moving forward and evolving to meet program needs. This role is ideal for those looking to get exposure to a broad range of engineering efforts and disciplines. This is a rare opportunity to gain experience working a program that will transition from a development to a production environment. These responsibilities will help build foundational project and program management skills.

The responsibilities of the O&S Program and Planning Coordinator are:
Support leadership and planning lead to help develop and maintain an O&S Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). Will coordinate and close on actions, run reports and present to teams and leadership as needed.
Assume ownership of key meetings - managing charts, scheduling and agenda. Includes chart coordination for critical Program Management and Program Status Reviews.
Manage and track O&S actions, including tracking in action item tool and driving to closure.
Data management and consolidation in Teams/Sharepoint to ensure logical organization of key documents and data.
Support and manage key O&S events, includes all aspects of planning and logistics.
Support leadership to manage O&S Business Rhythm, working with all leads and PMs to keep up to date on a regular basis.
Work special projects as required.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aeronautical, etc.), or Business Admin.

Experience with MS Office Tools (Excel)

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
