Business Development Assistant (Entry Level)

LOCATION: New York, NY (Remote - Hybrid)

SUMMARY: Top-ranked AM law firm is seeking a Business Development Assistant to support the firm's Business Development team. The Business Development Assistant is responsible for supporting a variety of tasks; including answering phone calls, scheduling meetings, booking travel, data entry and responding to requests quickly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide high level administrative assistance in various tasks
  • Maintain organization of client-driven requests such as ads, calendar invites, payments and more
  • Keep attorney PowerPoints and website bios updated as needed
  • Express and maintain the guidelines and allowances of the budget policy for attorneys
  • Utilize the firms CRM, InterAction, to keep research projects organized and accurate
  • Handle department expense reports and check requests
  • Assist the Director of BD with the scheduling of new attorney orientations
  • Organize attorney photo shoots through the scheduling and management of the shoot
  • Execute all Zoom scheduling for conference calls and department meetings
  • Manage advertorial drafts that highlight the firms clients
  • Proofread, draft, format, edit, print, bind, and deliver attorney and client-facing materials as needed
  • Assist with various tasks as necessary for job functions
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Willingness to go above and beyond
  • Microsoft Office familiarity, including Excel and Word; with the ability to learn new software quickly
  • History of taking initiative is a desirable quality
  • Strong customer service and adaptability skills
  • Close attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writing
