We are seeking a part-time Patient Services Specialist to join our Gastroenterology South division located in Oregon City. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.

Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for an experienced candidate with a friendly demeanor, great positive attitude, and customer-focused work ethic. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of prior medical front office experience, has excellent communication skills, and has the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Primary duties include phone-based scheduling of our clinic test services. This will include explaining the test, prep, and confirming insurance information.Office and kitchen supply ordering and other duties as assigned.

Workdays will be Monday-Friday, 20 hours a week. Can be 5 4-hour days or 4 5-hour days.

Hiring pay based on open position, experience, and credentials:

Level I - $18.33- $24.81 per hour.

Level II - $20.17 - $27.29 per hour.

Level III - $22.18 - $30.01 per hour.

Placement within levels based on specialty group, experience, additional duties.

Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 50% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for part-time employees.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of previous medical front office experience is preferred.
  • Prior experience with EMR preferred. EPIC a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent attendance and work ethic
  • Positive attitude and desire to be a team player
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, staff and providers
