We are currently looking for Warehouse Lead Operators for our 2nd shift (2:30PM-11:00PM).
**SUMMARY**
Responsible for leading warehouse personnel in specific activities to drive efficient productivity while maintaining safe work practices. Typical warehouse activities include the operation of material handling equipment in both production and warehouse areas to accomplish order fulfillment. Finished goods (cases, pails, drums, etc.) are moved from storage locations using manual or powered material handling equipment. Order fulfillment occurs while assembling palletized loads of product for outbound shipment according to established procedures, directions, and pick lists. The completion of accurate and legible documentation is a critical component in the completion of all warehousing activities.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Leads by example in established safety procedures, work ethic and attendance standards.
* Manages a particular key warehousing activity (load preparation, receiving, pallet wrapping, load checking) and verifies other warehouse operators are completing these tasks correctly.
* Observes, tends to and provides training on the operation of various distribution machines including powered stretch wrappers, electric pallet walkies, electric forklifts, charging stations, etc.
Follows all safety guidelines for the operation of powered equipment.
* Assumes responsibility for the cleanliness of a particular warehouse area. Cleans appropriate machinery while maintaining
the cleanliness of the entire surrounding areas during the course of the work shift.
* Audits and removes damaged products and packaging materials. Ensures finished product being prepared for shipment meets acceptable quality standards (sealed, appropriately labeled, package cleanliness, etc.).
* Replenishes packaging supplies, such as pallets, corrugated tier sheets, hand stretch wrap, machine stretch wrap, corner boards and tape.
* Completes accurate record keeping of materials used and produced. Fills out necessary inventory paperwork for damages and supplies this information to foremen, as required.
