Role Summary:

The Biomedical Technician III - COE is primarily responsible for performing efficient maintenance on both company-owned and client-owned medical equipment at designated locations. This role ensures that all equipment operates effectively and meets the specific needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough inspections, maintenance, calibration, and repair of various medical devices.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all documentation and data entry for billing and compliance purposes.
  • Engage with clinical staff regarding equipment features and functionalities.
Qualifications Required:
  • Associate degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or biomedical equipment technology, or equivalent military training or certification as a Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET).
  • Expertise in specialized equipment areas such as anesthesia, imaging, or respiratory technology, along with a solid understanding of service programs and contractual obligations.
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with computer networks and equipment interactions.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record as per company policy.
  • Ability to provide technical training to peers in areas such as equipment operation and preventive maintenance.
  • Capability to supervise other biomedical personnel temporarily.
  • Willingness to travel at least 30% annually, including overnight stays, to meet business needs.
  • Flexibility to assist with field-based biomedical accounts and inventory projects.
  • Maintain necessary credentials and vaccinations for working in various healthcare settings.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required to support a 24/7 operation.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds and perform various physical activities as needed.
