This is a remote position requiring core Pacific Time Zone hours. Create work papers and perform opening balance sheet testing. Develop and maintain reports/dashboards to support leadership in making strategic financial and operational business decisions. Analyze accounting processes and systems to suggest and implement process improvements/efficiencies. Develop and implement internal controls for accounting processes. Ad-hoc analysis, reporting, tax/audit preparations, and process improvement support. Financial Accounting Analyst Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. At least 2 years of public accounting/external audit experience. Proven ability to perform opening balance sheet testing and develop work papers from scratch. Exposure to insurance industry and/or prior M&A experience a plus. Tech-savvy with the ERP systems and analytics tools. Ability to comfortably navigate and analyze large/complex data sets in Excel (PivotTables, LOOKUPs). Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
