Primary Duties and Responsibilities as a Maitre'D

  • Assists in developing customer relations, handling requests, comments and complaints.
  • Assigns customers to tables in the establishment
  • Divides the area into areas of responsibility for the various servers on duty
  • Ensures that guests have a pleasant dining experience
  • Receives and welcomes guests
Primary Duties and Responsibilities as a F&B Supervisory:
  • Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality service or accommodations
  • Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents in order to verify product quality and quantity.
  • Schedule staff hours and assign duties.
  • Schedule use of facilities or catering services for events such as banquets or receptions, and negotiate details of arrangements with clients.

Education, Training and Experience:
  • Associates degree in Food Service or equivalent experience
