Reframe Systems is on a mission to build net-zero carbon housing for all, at massive scale. To achieve our mission, we need to make net-zero carbon housing more affordable and we are re-imagining how housing is designed and built. Our volumetric module platform and highly-automated production system will drive down cost, delivery time, and embodied carbon for multifamily housing. We are setting up our first digital factory in the greater Boston area (Andover, MA), and have a roadmap to scale our presence nationally. We are disrupting assembly line manufacturing for housing production and are backed by leading VC firms in the industrial and construction space.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a versatile and data-driven Process and Performance Engineer to optimize our manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement in our Andover, MA digital factory. The ideal candidate will have a unique blend of hands-on process engineering experience and a strong aptitude for leveraging production data to derive insights and implement effective solutions. As a key member of our team, the Process and Performance Engineer will work closely with operations, manufacturing engineering, product design, and software development teams to enhance labor productivity, improve quality metrics, and contribute to the development of our frontline UX platform.

Responsibilities

Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement using lean methodologies such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S. Develop and implement process improvements to increase labor productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization. Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to generate actionable insights and drive decision-making. Design and implement data collection systems and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as labor productivity and quality metrics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize improvement initiatives aligned with company goals and objectives. Contribute to the development of the frontline UX (Tulip) platform by defining and prioritizing features, creating user stories, and providing input on user experience and functionality. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issues and improve product quality. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistent and efficient execution of processes. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in manufacturing and data analytics.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field. 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering, or data analytics role. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S. Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, Tableau, or PowerBI. Hands-on experience with low-code platforms like Tableau, PowerBI, or similar tools for data visualization and dashboard creation. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable improvements. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Passion for sustainable building, housing affordability, and an interest in robotics and advanced manufacturing technologies.
