Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Closed Door Pharmacy Technician in Data Entry to fill an opening with a leading LTC pharmacy in Indianapolis, IN.

Daily Responsibilities for a Pharmacy Technician:
  • Order Management & Customer Service: Communicate with nursing facilities, prescribers, and insurance via phone/fax to fill orders and ensure customer satisfaction. Review, verify, and process orders, collaborate with billing representatives, and resolve issues like missing deliveries or incorrect prescriptions.
  • Data Entry & Process Efficiency: Enter patient information, process various order types, and ensure orders meet pharmacy deadlines. Accurately compute charges, manage medication records, and promote effective communication to enhance performance.
  • Shift
    • Rotating Daytime Shifts

Required Qualifications for Pharmacy Technician
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have Indiana Pharmacy Technician License (Must be in good standing)
  • 1+ years pharmacy experience in LTC Pharmacy performing Data Entry
  • Must have strong customer service, phone skills
