Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Pharmacy Supervisor in daily operations
  • Accurately and efficiently process daily medication orders
  • Aid in the management of returned medications and ensure proper disposal
  • Prepack commonly prescribed medications
  • Manually package pharmaceutical materials
  • Retrieve medications from storage locations
  • Label and verify medications for accuracy
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and inventory
  • Adhere to regulatory standards including HIPAA
  • Availability for overtime and weekend shifts may be necessary
Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician certification
  • Experience in Long Term Care or Retail pharmacy settings is preferred
  • Capability to work at a consistent pace
  • Dependable and able to work in adverse weather conditions
Physical Requirements and Work Environment

  • Ability to sit or stand for 7-10 hours daily
  • Occasionally required to climb, bend, or kneel
  • May need to work extended hours
  • Capable of lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
  • Encounter various environmental conditions
