Eversource is seeking an engineering candidate (Associate Engineer, Engineer, or Senior Engineer) to oversee the reliability of the distribution system in the Pittsfield Area Work Center, which includes the City of Pittsfield and surrounding towns. There is some flexibility regarding the base office location (Pittsfield, Hadley, or Springfield), with the candidate required to work from the base office location twice a week. Additionally, the candidate should expect to visit the Pittsfield Area Work Center and patrol distribution circuits regularly or as needed. Responsibilities: Provides engineering/technical expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis, and resolution of problems of increasing scope and complexity. Ensures accomplishment of business goals and objectives through effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling, and monitoring of work activities. Prepares thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations, and sketches. Conducts engineering and related studies; completes non-routine engineering projects with minimal oversight. Develops positive working relationships to effectively coordinate work activities. Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills. Maintains accurate records and files. Supports the company's goals and represents the company positively and professionally. Requirements: Knowledge of utility power systems is preferred. Ability to independently develop, present, and execute new projects through collaborations with other departments. Familiarity with power-related software is preferred. Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Experience:

Associate Engineer: 0-3 years related experience is required. Engineer: 3-5 years related experience is required. Senior Engineer: >5 years related experience is required.

Compensation and Benefits: Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. The salary range for this position is $79,130.00 to $134,090.00, plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with your experience. Check out the career site for an overview of benefits. Working Conditions: Must be available to work emergency restoration assignments as required.
