The ideal candidate will be capable of linking proposal requirements with supporting documentation to assist with source justification, price analyses and proposal documentation. The successful applicant must be organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated. Must be comfortable working side-by-side with senior leadership, different functional departments, and field staff. Must be able to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in Adobe Pro, Microsoft Word, and Excel, be organized and very detail oriented. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Create and Process Purchase Requests, Purchase Orders, Change Orders. Receives Vendor responses to requests for proposals, determines each vendor’s ability to meet Company and project requirements, and negotiates the terms and conditions. Regularly communicates with customers, management (at all levels), and members of functional management regarding acquisition requirements. Provide proposal support as it relates to materials and subcontract source documents/data. Execute ERP file/record maintenance. Subcontract Closeout support Audit Support – Assist with internal review/preparation of support documents. Process and manage Export Control Compliance applications (ITAR/EAR) and licenses. Assist in Government Property compliance and administration. Process required documents to enable rapid acceptance of suppliers’ shipments and invoicing. Work independently with good problem solving skills, while keeping Customer Group (CG) and corporate procurement management updated on the status of their assigned activities. Collaborate with other buyers as directed and/or requested. Other Duties

This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday 8-hour days. General working hours are 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with a half hour lunch. Other Requirements

Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. 3 or more years of Procurement experience 1 year in purchasing or accounting within a government contracting environment a plus Supervisory Duties
