The Opportunity
Customer Care Specialist supports and works effectively with Customer Service, Marketing, Finance, Sales, Quality Assurance, and departments in efforts to drive improved service to our customers. Complete all inquiries from the internal and external customers. Must work independently, relying on oral and/or written instruction. Complete all required reports in a timely manner. This permanent position will report to the Senior Director of North America Sales.
- Responsible for the entry of complaints in C4C using accurate data and driving the process to receive completed responses in a timely manner.
- Send CME Market Reports - Daily
- Create custom SAP, Business Warehouse and Business Objects reports as required by Sales and Customers.
- Provide service for non-order entry customer requests including, but not limited to, product documentation, specifications, certificates, questionnaires, and master data requirements.
- Enter sample requests into C4C
- Reason Code tracking for Revenue Checks
- Enter applicable credits/debits into SAP.
- Responsible for the maintenance of customer data in SAP to include: customer master, the customer information record, customer listings/exclusions, outputs, batch search strategy.
- Enter customer requests for technical documents into C4C tasks. -Request tracker
- Quickly adapt to business needs and requirements as they change.
- Add documents to HUB SharePoint
- Attend team meetings and trainings as required.
- Accurate completion and reporting of work and results. Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
- Monitor and distribute daily revenue checks and releasing of blocked invoices.
- Create PowerPoint presentations for executive team
- Ability to effectively present information to co-workers and management
- Proficient personal computer skills.
- Possess the ability to work with mathematical concepts.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to improve processes to achieve department/company goals.
- Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skills.
- Assist department with meeting objective of 100% of orders confirmed within 24 hours.
- Completion of key tasks and projects by the assigned deadline.
- Service metrics including master data accuracy, timely report and task completion.
- Requires an Associate's Degree or a minimum of two years' experience in Administration and/or Customer Service or a combination of above.
- Previous experience in a business-to-business environment is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Must be able to prioritize, organize, delegate assignments, and work independently.
- Ability to effectively interact with all levels of personnel with the utmost professionalism.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while remaining productive at all times.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Keyboard speed minimum 50 wpm with 95% accuracy.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP system, SAP preferred.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to create and interpret bar graphs.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and possess team-based problem solving skills.
- Must be results focused and oriented toward accomplishment of team and organizational goals.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common reports and information.
- Must be able to work flexible hours to include overtime when needed.
- Intermediate personal computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Occasionally involves crouching, stooping, kneeling and/or climbing or balancing. Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds.
