Responsibilities In this Business Operations Specialist position you will become a key team member of Homeland Security professionals who provides procurement advice and assistance to program officials to acquire systems, services, equipment, and supplies that support the mission of the United States Border Patrol (USBP). This position starts at a salary of $117,962.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $153,354.00 (GS-13, Step 10). Duties include: Reviewing and analyzing purchase requisition packages and procurement contracts for completion and correctness Working within the System Analysis Program (SAP) and Invoice Processing Platform (IPP) to reconcile vendor submitted Generating a Goods Receipt or Service Entry Sheet to facilitate invoice payment Advising the Contracting Officer and Program officials when needed on items that require preparation of documents, collecting data, property administration, and changes GS Salary: Visit this link to view the locality pay tables by geographic area. Qualifications Experience: You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Reading documents, writing documents, and attending all collaborative efforts and meetings to reach agreement. Verifying that the appropriate funding line is utilized and available for payment. Monitoring the period of performance and establishes schedules to ensure follow-on contracts and Interagency Agreements are awarded on time. Facilitating the development of Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS) or Statements of Objectives (SOO). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. You must: Meet all qualification requirements, including education if applicable to this position, subject to verification at any stage of the application process; and Meet all applicable Time in Grade requirements (current federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the federal service) by 08/27/2024.
