Key Responsibilities- Content Development: Author and edit professional work documents, including policy statements, standard operating procedures, governance guides, desk guides, quick guides, instructional manuals, process diagrams, communications documents, briefings, and more.
- Tool Development: Develop, update, and maintain MS Power Apps and MS Power BI tools as needed.
- Project Support: Provide support to projects, taskings, and programs as requested.
- Technical Proficiency: Be proficient in the use of standard office automation software, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Quality Assurance: Perform quality assurance on finished work products to ensure accuracy and completeness with minimal revisions or edits.
- Business Ownership: Assume ownership of business deliverable content.
- Process Modernization: Play a supporting role in all phases of business process modernization.
- Status Updates: Provide weekly or monthly status updates as required.
- Support and Collaboration: Support FLETC working groups and attend meetings as needed.
- Experience: 2 years' experience designing, developing, and configuring custom Microsoft (MS) PowerApps applications and MS Power BI dashboards/visualizations.
- Skills: 2 years' experience with MS Power Apps and MS Power BI, adept with MS Office Suite, organized, self-disciplined, and able to read and write English.
- Certifications: Ability to pass a federal background investigation (Public Trust) and be a U.S. citizen.
- Education: 4-year degree in a related field.
- Experience: Prior experience working in education and/or the federal government.
- Certifications: Existing DHS (Department of Homeland Security) or CBP Entry on Duty suitability.
