This position involves specialized work in developing and maintaining the personnel department for all branch locations and all compliance items for the company. Salary: $60K-$65K

1st Shift Hours: 8 am - 5 pm, Monday-Friday

Essential Functions:

  • Processes weekly and bi-weekly payroll through payroll service
  • Assists in recruiting and screening applicants
  • New employee onboarding and orientation
  • Benefit enrollment for newly eligible employees
  • Administers benefits open enrollment annually
  • Establishes and maintains personnel records and DOT driver files
  • Administers quarterly random drug screen program
  • Interprets and explains personnel rules and regulations to department heads, employees, and applicants
  • Worker Compensation administration and annual audit

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of modern methods and techniques in personnel administration
  • Knowledge of accounting concepts, techniques, and principles
  • Skill in analyzing and interpreting financial data
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel and Windows applications
  • Ten key touch
  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds
