A&D is a dynamic and contract manufacturer. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for our employees and visitors.
Job Description:
As a Facility Manager, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance, security, and management of our company's physical premises. Your duties will include overseeing building maintenance, coordinating with service providers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and implementing efficient systems for facility operations. Additionally, you will be in charge of developing and managing our company's safety program.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Management:
·
Oversee daily facility operations, including cleaning, maintenance, and repairs.
·
Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program for all building systems.
·
Perform handyman tasks such as minor repairs, plumbing, electrical work, and general upkeep.
·
Supervise daily coolant maintenance and chip bins
Safety and Compliance:
·
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations.
·
Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
·
Manage and maintain safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, and emergency lighting.
·
Develop and manage the company's safety program, including training and compliance initiatives.
·
Conduct safety training sessions and drills for employees to ensure preparedness and compliance.
Space Planning and Management:
·
Oversee space allocation and layout planning to optimize the use of facilities.
·
Coordinate office moves, renovations, and other space modifications.
·
Ensure the facility layout supports operational efficiency and employee comfort.
Janitorial Duties:
·
Oversee janitorial duties ensuring all areas of the facility are clean, well-maintained, and presentable at all times.
Security and Emergency Preparedness:
·
Implement and manage security protocols to protect company assets and personnel.
·
Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures.
·
Conduct regular drills and training sessions for staff on emergency procedures.
Qualifications:
·
Proven experience in facility management, building maintenance, or a related role.
·
Forklift certification
·
Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
·
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
·
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
·
Ability to perform handyman tasks and respond to emergencies.
·
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
