We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our clients team. In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment to onboarding and beyond. Your understanding of the unique needs of professional services firms will be a strong asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
    • Source and screen qualified candidates for open positions.
    • Assist in scheduling and coordinating interviews.
    • Prepare and manage new hire paperwork and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Benefits and Compensation:
    • Assist with employee benefits administration, including answering questions and resolving enrollment issues.
    • Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS (Human Resource Information System).
    • Process payroll changes and handle basic timekeeping inquiries (if applicable).
  • Employee Relations:
    • Provide general HR support to employees, answering questions and resolving concerns.
    • Assist in the coordination of employee performance reviews and development programs.
    • Maintain employee files and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Professional Services Specific:
    • Understand the specific needs and challenges of the professional services industry, such as recruiting and retaining top talent, managing project-based workloads, and fostering a culture of collaboration.
    • Assist with onboarding programs tailored to professional services roles.
    • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in HR for professional services firms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in human resources, with some experience in the professional services industry a plus.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment law.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage deadlines, and work independently.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for building strong relationships.
