Organisational Context : MAAP was established in 2014 with the mission to inspire cyclists to go further, on their terms. We achieve our mission by supplying high-desire performance products to the new breed of riders, who are redefining the sport globally and never looking back.

Reports to : VP Sales
Position Scope : The key purpose of this role is to oversee sales and drive ongoing sales growth of MAAP merchandise in North, Central and South America.
Position Responsibilities
The key responsibility of the Americas Sales Manager is to take full accountability for MAAP’s sales function, which includes setting of long-term sales plans and strategies, ensuring overall achievement of maximum sales volume, growing distribution, market share and profitability. Take full accountability for MAAP’s strategy and execution of the activation plans.
A. Culture
Actively champion the vision, values, principles, and practices of MAAP promoting a productive, creative, and inclusive organisation culture by:
• Proactive promotion of MAAP vision, values, principles, and practices to stakeholders;
• Enhancing organisational reputation by effectively representing MAAP externally to client organisations; and
• Performing and exemplifying a leadership role in the business.
B. Sales Management
• Ultimate responsibility for achieving wholesale sales targets in North, Central and South America;
• Manage and grow North, Central and South American accounts;
• Conduct showings and handover of season catalogues;
• Manage eDM communications;
• Manage Indent Orders, Pre Orders and B2B orders
• Communicate with the customers on launch plans and implementation;
• Collect customer feedback and provide updates to senior management
• Travel to potential and existing Americas customers to present company offerings and build brand awareness
• Utilize outbound telephone calls, emails and face-to-face meetings with customers to close sales
• Develop and sustain long-term relationships with customers
C. Other
• work closely with the Americas Marketing Manager to schedule, organise and execute the wholesale events calendar, which includes but is not limited to: wholesale account staff training, product launches, shop rides, local community and wholesaler events.
KPI’s
1. Achieve Americas wholesale sales distribution, volume and targets.
. Increase Americas account base in line with sales targets (working closely with VP Sales)

c. Events (staff training, shops rides, VIP nights, product presentations)

. Work with VP Sales on creating the strategic Americas Wholesale Plan
a. Provide insight into the annual budget

4. Reporting and measuring
. Provide timely and accurate weekly/monthly performance reporting to Directors on key metrics
a. Provide weekly reports to VP Sales
5. Ensure travel availability to deliver sales targets as follows (multiple trips per year)

QUALIFICATIONS
• Degree or post-secondary qualifications in business and marketing management
OTHER
• Ability to meet role travel requirements
• Full proficiency in at least one of the languages of the Americas countries (Spanish or Portuguese)
