Roush Flexible Assembly provides assembly services to many of the leading edge companies in the automotive industry. Products we produce for our customers consist of Off-Road tactical military vehicles, self-driving autonomous vehicles & electric vehicles just to name a few. These low volume, highly technical projects make for a very exciting work environment where you learn cutting edge technology on a regular basis. Full-time / direct hire employment opportunities to the right candidates. Qualifications Must have 1 year of hands-on experience including personal or vocational training within the automotive industry. High school diploma or equivalent. Must have reliable transportation. Must have basic understanding of automotive systems. Must be mechanically inclined. Must have strong mechanical aptitude and ability to problem solve. Must have good organizational skills. Must have good attention to detail. Must possess the skills to read, comprehend and execute written procedures. Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and willing to learn. Must be able to work well with others. Good oral and written communication skills. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Safety oriented. Must have excellent attendance and be willing to work overtime/weekends. Preferred Skills Previous mechanic or co-op experience preferred. Automotive electrical systems experience a plus. Candidates are encouraged to have a basic set of mechanic tools, but not required for this position.
