Job DescriptionClinical Pharmacist for Cardiology at Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR.Part-Time/Variable ShiftThe Clinical Pharmacist - Cardiology provides care to patients in our cardiology wards, frequently practicing progressively under clinical pharmacy agreements. At the cardiac center for the Providence Oregon Region, clinical pharmacists care for complex patients, including those receiving advanced heart failure therapies and heart transplant. They are preceptors for our large residency class and for students in our layered learning model. The clinical pharmacist will also provide some support to operational/distributive pharmacy services. Our pharmacists work 10-hour shifts (weekdays and every third weekend) which will be primarily days and evenings.The Clinical Pharmacist has the responsibility for the provision of high-quality, individualized, cost-effective pharmaceutical care and integrated pharmacy operational services in collaboration with the healthcare team to optimize patient's medication therapy outcomes and quality of life.Providence caregivers are not simply valued - they're invaluable. Oregon Pharmacist License upon hire. Preferred Qualifications: Acute care hospital pharmacy experience, 1 year or equivalent experience. Completion of ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency.
