Details about this opportunity:

  • Full-Time or Part-Time, FFS. Flexible scheduling available
  • Mon-Th: 8am-6pm, Fri: 8a-4p (hours vary based on FT or PT status)
  • Working with Early Intervention and/or Preschool children
  • Fee for Service Compensation:
    • EI: $64-$75/ hour- full case load potential of approximately $150,000/year
    • Preschool: $70/ hour- full case load potential of approximately $100,000/year
      • Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience, and licensure/certifications held.
  • Islandia, NY (home/sensory gym/preschools)
  • Multiple positions available

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
  • Administer and write up physical therapy evaluations.
  • Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
  • Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
  • Create and maintain a schedule with assigned individual families/school personnel.
  • Collect data on each IFSP/IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
  • Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.

  • Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Physical Therapy
  • Current New York State Physical Therapy License
  • Bilingual is a plus
