Fotech applies state of art machine learning and signal processing techniques to our industry-leading fibre optic sensing technology to inform efficiency, increase the security and sustainability of infrastructure and reduce environmental impact across multiple industries.

Were looking to hire a Regional Sales Manager, to join our expanding Sales team and build our sales activity in Latin America. Please note for this role it is essential you are fluent in Spanish & English.

You will have full responsibility for the sales activity within Latin America. Working with our Industry Sector Managers (ISMs) and Sales Engineers, youll be building new sales channels, developing existing relationships, and ultimately increasing sales of our products.

A key component in our growth focuses on the development and implementation of a XaaS strategy. Youll be leading the development & implementation of this strategy intending to build a pipeline focused on subscription payments to complement our complete unit sales.

**Youll do this by:**

* Define and implement a sales strategy and playbook for the region that will include how you successfully identify, engage and ultimately close deals with customers across multiple industries

* Develop opportunities to take our product into new markets and develop brand awareness across new and existing clients

* Take full responsibility for accurate sales forecasting ensuring your key stakeholders (Sales Director and ISMs) are aware and aligned to your projections

* Engage stakeholders, ensuring they are kept abreast of developments with a view to upselling warranties, periodic maintenance, and XaaS opportunities

* Attend and support sales channels at the proof of concepts (POC) demonstrations, Expos and shows

* Review and manage the channel partners performance and onboarding new partners. Where needed, ensure our partners have all the required training and represent the brand accordingly

**We want you to bring:**

* Fluent Spanish speaker is essential for this role

* Experience as a high performing salesperson within a transaction as well as XaaS Customer environment

* Understanding of local markets. If youve got an understanding of local markets and understand where our solutions could be implemented, bring your ideas to the table

* The ability to be the face of the Fotech brand for the region and able to act with the highest level of integrity with your customers

* Confidence to network through targeted organisations and identify how our products add value. Youll likely be discussing a variety of pricing models/subscriptions, so youll need to understand and read these relationships clearly and accurately

* Team player. We are going through a period of growth and change. You will be part of how we build our culture & the makeup of our sales team for years to come

* As comfortable with travelling potentially at short notice to meet with clients, as with developing and closing opportunities via remote collaboration.
