Description

Company Description

The Clearing is a management consulting firm that helps leaders identify underlying causes of organizational obstacles, resolve highly complex challenges, prioritize the fewest, most important initiatives to tackle regardless of conflicting needs and make informed decisions in the context of an agreed-upon mission, vision, and strategy.

Senior Consultants demonstrate strong financial management, ensuring their project(s) meet or exceed financial targets, and identify risks and recommend mitigations, understanding when to escalate. They cultivate team members, modeling the "TC Way," demonstrating our company's core consulting approaches, mindsets, and behaviors; and providing both positive reinforcement and assessments of growth opportunities. Senior Consultants ensure the quality of client work meets or exceeds the customer's expectations. They demonstrate effective client relationship management and listen for and respond to buying signals to deepen the impact of their clients and towards project and/or account growth.

  • Contribute to advanced/complex proposal development efforts, including writing complete sections; act as proposal coordinator for large efforts or lead smaller proposal efforts, in adherence with TC proposal processes and quality/design standards
  • Navigate contracting options within the client environment and partner with Project/Account leadership and other company leaders to get an engagement contractually closed
  • Pursue and secure follow-on or plus-up project work, including managing the capture, proposal, and contract process; partner with growth agent(s) to coordinate capture activities that lead to net-new growth
  • Support and/or lead research, data gathering, and analysis to inform the development of client recommendations and solutions; synthesize and present results clearly
  • Showcase critical thinking skills to evaluate needs, make recommendations, design client solutions, and partner with project and company leadership to refine thinking and approaches to client challenges
  • Support the professional training and development of junior team members
  • Demonstrate sensitivity to teammate and client strengths and weaknesses to create a sense of belonging and to value individual contributions
  • Contribute to content development that makes up the TC Solutions Knowledge Base and our Standard Approach Toolkits and teach others Knowledge Management practices and policies
  • Develop thought leadership materials (internal and external) that showcase your knowledge and application of TC's core solutions, service offerings, and/or methodology

  • Flexible and adaptable mindset to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced, high-stakes client environments
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States, now and in the future, without the need for company (The Clearing) visa sponsorship now or in the future
