Seasonal Patient Care Technician - Central Staffing OfficeWe are looking for Seasonal RNs to join Texas Health. Is that you? Main Office: Texas Health Central Staffing Office - 612 E Lamar, Arlington, TX 76011Work Locations: The main office for the Central Staffing Office is in Arlington, TX but you will primarily be working in Region C.Work hours: PRN, must be available to work 36 hours/week.Shift: variable Night shifts (no self-scheduling). Regions are as follows:Region A: Allen, Frisco, Plano, Dallas, Prosper, Rockwall, Kaufman and Center for Diagnostics & Surgery PlanoRegion B: Denton, Flower Mound, Southlake, HEB, Arlington Memorial, Heart & Vascular, Alliance, and AzleRegion C: Fort Worth, Southwest, Cleburne, Clearfork, Burleson, Willow Park and the Specialty Hospital.Position Highlights:Texas Health Central Staffing Office - internal staffing department that provides clinical staffing resources for all THR hospitals.Must have flexibility to float throughout the Metroplex based on the needs of the business.The Central Staffing Office is broken into particular zones, but in the event that your primary zone does not have any needs, you must be open to being floated to outside, neighboring zones.Department highlights:Texas Health Resources Central Staffing Office - internal staffing department that provides clinical staffing resources for all THR hospitals.Must have flexibility to float throughout the Metroplex based on assigned zones.The department prides itself in high performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills. Here's What You NeedHigh School Diploma or Equivalent (REQUIRED)1 year experience required within the last 3 years (REQUIRED) No experience required if nursing student who has completed fundamentals or military experience with medical training equivalent (REQUIRED)Licenses and CertificationsBCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly (REQUIRED) CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training 90 Days; Maintained Annually (REQUIRED)What You Will DoProvide assistance to patient according to plan of care.Collect patient data, identifies and reports significant findings to nurse.Assist in admission/transfer/discharge.Provide and Revise patient activities of daily living based on patient/family preferences.Perform technical procedures safely and proficiently.Take action to reduce or eliminate patient risk.Enter orders into computer or manual system if applicable.Document accurately and appropriately.In collaboration/consultation with the nurse, adapt care to reflect patient population.In collaboration/consultation with nurse, incorporate cultural/religious needs and beliefs into delivery of care.Keep patient environment clean and maintains safe environment.Anticipate patient/family and visitor needs and take action to meet those needs and rounds as appropriate.Additional perks of being a Texas Health employee•Delivery of high quality of patient care through nursing education, nursing research and innovations in nursing practice.•Strong Unit Based Council (UBC).•A supportive, team environment with outstanding opportunities for growth.Entity Highlights:At Texas Health Resources, our mission is "to improve the health of the people in the communities we serve".
