This critical role will drive strategic human capital initiatives in the areas of organizational design and development, team member relations, and workforce planning.

Pay Range:126k - 158k, depending on experience

  • HR Dir Operations Support - Lead a talented team supporting our national Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, IT, EHS, HR, Legal and R&D organizations. This position will be located in Harrisburg, PA, Venice, FL or Tacoma, WA.
  • The HR Dir South will lead a talented team of HR Managers supporting our Manufacturing plants in the region. This currently includes: - Venice, FL, Ft Meyers, FL, Miami, FL, Hialeah, FL. This position can be located at any one of the above locations.
  • The HR Dir East will lead a talented team of HR Managers supporting our Manufacturing plants in the region and the Internal Supply Teams. This currently includes: Flower Mound, TX, Temperance, MI, - Gratz, PA, Hegins, PA, Profiles - Millersburg PA, Vinyl Extrusion, Tacoma, WA, Pultrusion, Tacoma, WA. This position will be located in PA.
HR Team Leadership
  • Develop the skills of the HR team in conducting investigations, change management, project management and business partnership
  • Partners with peer HR Directors to drive consistent program implementation across the country, coordinating with COE and HR teams to ensure consistent and successful execution
  • Foster a collaborative environment and ensuring continuous professional development and growth opportunities
  • Contribute to business transformation efforts by working collaboratively with cross functional teams to enhance the Team
Member Experience
  • Serve as an escalation point to the plant HRMs, COEs, and other functional organizations to resolve issues, review investigations, and prepare recommendations
  • Champions HR compliance across the organization through local resources, developing self-audits to identify risk and drive corrective actions to mitigate risks
Business Partnership
  • Build strong relationships as a trusted advisor to senior leadership
  • Know/understand the business and its challenges; address organizational and people needs; provide counsel and drive action in matters concerning org design and development, team member relations, change management, staffing and retention
  • Coach senior leaders on organizational challenges, talent strategies, and the implementation of talent programs
  • Focus on talent - assist leadership in identifying, developing, coaching and mentoring top talent; ensure that we are building strong teams, capable of and empowered to build and execute a focused agenda; plan for succession
  • Develop, monitor and leverage key performance indicators to drive business improvement
  • Champion and drive a culture that embraces the MITER Guiding Principles
  • Stay abreast of regulatory and political changes as well as shifting market dynamics; serve as general advisor concerning business and workforce implications; effectively manage risk
Requirements
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred
  • 10+ years experience in Human Resources or related fields, 5+ years experience in a Manufacturing environment or an equivalent combination of experience and education to successfully perform the essential functions of the position
  • Demonstrated experiencing leading an HR Team
  • Multi-site HR experience preferred
  • Great communication skills and work well with team members at all levels in the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, analyze and interpret data, driving thoughtful recommendations and action
  • Demonstrated organizational development experience - aligning structure, people, process and reward systems with business strategy; managing transformational change
  • Demonstrated ability to hire, inspire, lead and develop talent
  • Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills
