Summary

The Solar Asset Management Analyst has managerial and technical oversight for the customer-sited technology products resulting from customer facing programs. Manages budgets and resources to ensure successful completion of work. Manages of O&M budgets. Develops and oversees comprehensive asset management and maintenance plans. Coordinates planning, labor, material, and other resources to complete the work in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.

Interfaces with outside services, resources and vendors to support the work. Communicates status updates and results to inter/intra departmental management. Determines level of support required from Supply Chain, T&D, or other departments, to develop, maintain, and complete work packages.

Minimum Requirements

* Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Information Systems, Business or related field OR an equivalent combination of college coursework and experience asset management or related responsibilities defining and/or managing maintenance plans and budgets and delivery equaling four (4) years, and two (2) years related project management experience and/or directly related business positions.

Preferred Special Skills, Knowledge or Qualifications:

* Demonstrated leadership, project management and organizational skills. Strong oral and written communication and people management skills. Easily adapts to change and uncertainty. Comprehensive functional/technical knowledge of the business unit's line of business, practices, and procedures may be preferred or required. Maximo, CCB, and PowerClerk experience preferred.

Major Accountabilities

1) Plans, monitors and manages all aspects of customer-sited asset maintenance including asset handover, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, vendor management, customer relationships, asset ownership transfer, and asset removal, in accordance with internal process methodologies. Ensures completion according to plan (i.e. maintenance plan, schedule, budget).

2) Develops and presents comprehensive asset management plan and budget to management. Obtains all necessary approvals.

3) Once work order is identified, uses discretion, independent judgment and technical expertise to incorporate and assign priority to corrective maintenance requests into overall asset maintenance plan, using attention to detail that results in a complete and executable work package to help ensure the continued operation of equipment and systems.

4) Manages and coordinates vendor relationships, including but not limited to: field work oversight, materials management, vendor performance and quality management.

5) Reviews reports on underperforming or offline assets. Initiates investigations to determine root cause of system issues. Oversees overall projects and determines completeness of work performed.

6) Ensures asset management work results meet requirements regarding quality, reliability, schedule and cost for all asset maintenance, asset transfer, and asset removal/disposition work.

7) Provides timely and accurate information and status updates to senior management.

8) Interfaces with inter/intra departments and management, including but not limited to: Supply Chain, T&D, etc.

Flex Role:

This position is not required to be performed at a specific APS facility as long as adequate technology and a solid ergonomic set up are present. Pending agreement with leadership, employees hired into this role will be able to choose where they prefer to perform their work, but the ultimate decision is the company's. Employees will have two options to choose from:

* APS office based: The employee prefers to work most of the time from an APS facility. * Home based: The employee prefers to work most of the time from his/her home. * Employees in Flex roles are required to reside in Arizona (or NM for Four Corners-based employees). Role types are subject to change based on business need.
