Job Summary

The Water Purification Product Engineer will play a pivotal role in collaborating with the R&D and export departments to develop, improve, and promote water products tailored for the US market. This role demands a deep understanding of industry trends, competitor dynamics, and US-specific product certifications like NSF/ANSI standards. The expert will also provide essential technical support and training to the sales team, ensuring products align with market demands and regulatory standards. A background in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or Engineering, combined with hands-on experience in the water treatment industry, is crucial for success in this position.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the R&D department to develop and improve products to meet market demands and technological advancements.
  • Assist in planning the companys water product line (purification, drinking, soft water for the US market.
  • Continuously research and analyze the US market to understand industry trends, competitor dynamics, and customer needs.
  • Conduct competitive teardowns and analyze relative product performance.
  • Be familiar with and understand product certifications relevant to the US market (such as NSF/ANSI standards. Have experience in successfully getting products through the third-party certification process.
  • Ensure product comply with all federal regulations such as the SDWA and EPA FIFRA labelling requirements.
  • Assist in developing and editing product documentation including installation guides and user manuals.
  • Provide technical support and training to help the sales team and customers better understand and use our products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related fields is required. Masters degree will be a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience with water purifier products; experience in certifying drinking water products in the US market is a plus.
  • In-depth understanding of the water treatment industry, including relevant technological trends, regulations, and market dynamics.
  • Familiarity with the product certification process and requirements in the US market (such as NSF/ANSI standards).
  • Possess excellent project management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
