Your Qualifications University degree or equivalent qualification in a technical discipline: Master’s degree or comparable in Computer Engineering. Professional experience of at least five years in Ground Segment (G/S) engineering projects for space systems, in Phase C/D as mandatory. Professional experience of at least five years in definition and design of S/S for EO systems for institutional and/or commercial customers. Strong competences in virtualization technologies and hypervisors (e.g., VMWare), including database virtualization. Knowledge of secure network architectures, vulnerability testing, threat modeling. Experience in the definition, management, and traceability of requirements structure with the support of DOORS. Proven capability to define of G/S design throughout the support of model-based methods, techniques, and tools (e.g., SysML, UML). Sound knowledge of ground system engineering processes, and ground system software life cycles. Sound knowledge of relevant ECSS standards. Excellent conceptual and analytical skills. Ability to devise creative solutions and think out of the box. Proven heritage and attitude for problem solving and project team management. High level of flexibility, willingness to work in international teams and ability to keep tight schedules. High motivation, proactive working approach, and strong sense of responsibility. Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills. Fluency in both spoken and written (Business) English, Italian skills are desirable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
