Qualifications –

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred. 5+ years related experience in Real Estate Accounting Fiscal management experience Advanced knowledge of financial reporting, accounts

receivables/payables

and general ledger accounts Experience managing various financial projects Experience with Entrata preferred

The Director of Finance plays a critical role in overseeing the financial health and stability of the organization. This position involves managing financial operations, developing strategic financial plans, and providing leadership in financial decision-making to support the organization's objectives.

Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to provide insights into business performance Evaluate financial risks and opportunities, and make recommendations for improvement Lead the budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and achievable budgets Monitor budget performance and variance analysis, identifying areas for cost control and efficiency improvement Prepare financial forecasts and long-term financial plans to support decision-making Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies Present financial information to senior management and the board of directors, providing insights and recommendations Manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure the organization's financial stability Develop and implement strategies for optimizing cash management, including investment decisions and financing options Monitor banking relationships and negotiate terms to minimize costs and maximize returns Identify and assess financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks Develop risk mitigation strategies and controls to safeguard the organization's assets and reputation Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends affecting financial risk management Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement Mentor and develop finance staff, providing opportunities for professional growth and skill development Foster cross-functional collaboration and communication to ensure alignment with organizational goals
