Staff Accountant Job Description:
As a Staff Accountant with our client, you will play a crucial role in managing various accounting functions, collaborating with franchise owners, and ensuring the smooth financial operations of our organization.
Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

40% Billing, Cash Transactions, Deferred Revenue, Full-cycle AR:
- Handle billing processes, cash transactions, and deferred revenue recognition.
- Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, with potential flexibility for adjustments.

40% Analytics - Franchise Owners Support:
- Engage with franchise owners to address their financial queries and process royalties.
- Provide strong communication and support by pulling reports, making recommendations, and delivering analytics.
- Comfortably manipulate data in a manual process environment.

20% Month-End Close:
- Execute month-end close procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Perform bank, account, and cash reconciliations efficiently.
Staff Accountant Experience and Qualifications:
- Proficient in Excel with the ability to navigate manual processes comfortably.
- Prior experience in franchise accounting is a significant plus.
- Passion for accounting and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail, especially when entering data into various systems.
- Accounting degree preferred; progressive experience will be considered.
- 2-3+ years of relevant accounting experience; exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered.
