Job Description:

Your Role:

As a Systems Administrator, you'll be involved in a variety of stimulating tasks, contributing to group discussions, and devising creative solutions to complex problems. You'll work across multiple areas of the business, supporting both internal operations and customer-facing platforms. With your deep knowledge of infrastructure, networking, and hardware, you'll help drive our organization's technological evolution.

What You'll Do:
  • Strategic Planning: Stay ahead of emerging risks and issues in infrastructure and network systems, contributing to overall IT and cloud strategy.
  • Acquisition & Deployment: Participate in selecting and implementing tools, technologies, and strategies to enhance our operations.
  • Operational Management: Support the design, implementation, and management of various platforms, including servers, virtualization, cloud services, and security platforms. Manage enterprise network infrastructure and maintain system security controls to safeguard critical assets. Oversee disaster recovery, backups, and system patch management processes.
What You Bring to the Role:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field. Relevant certifications such as MCSE, CISSP, CCNA, CCNP are preferred.
  • Experience: With over 4 years of proven experience in system administration, you've supported corporate data centers and possess extensive knowledge of VMware vSphere/vCenter. Your expertise spans complex enterprise architectures, encompassing hardware, virtualization, networking, and cloud technologies. You've managed enterprise-grade SAN and NAS storage technologies and have a track record of successful complex infrastructure project delivery. Experience in virtual environments, specifically Microsoft server environments, is essential. Proficiency in managing both Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases is required.
  • Skills: Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to manage simultaneous projects effectively. Highly self-motivated with a solutions-driven mindset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:
  • We embrace a hybrid-remote workplace model, blending in-office and remote work to accommodate both role requirements and employee locations. As a Systems Administrator, you'll enjoy the flexibility of this setup, with occasional travel within North America. Additionally, you'll be part of an on-call roster rotation, requiring flexibility in work hours to address outage and maintenance windows effectively.
