Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day support for IT systems, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, and other infrastructure.
  • Offer Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with agency management and internal customers to escalate and communicate status.
  • Support the dispatch system and hardware problems, remaining involved in the resolution process.
  • Configure and manage Linux and Windows operating systems, installing and loading operating system software, troubleshooting, maintaining integrity, and configuring network components to enhance reliability and performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline or 4 years of additional related experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • 7+ years of related experience, with a strong background in Linux systems and VMWare.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of related experience.
Clearance Requirements:
  • Must have current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
