Clearance Requirement: An active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is mandatory. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens to be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver systems administration assistance to various teams engaged in national Cybersecurity Defensive Operations.
- Collaborate with a skilled team of systems administrators, developers, and mission operators.
- This role offers the chance to learn from colleagues while also sharing your expertise within a supportive environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
- An Associate's degree with 7 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 9 years of relevant experience may be acceptable for candidates with substantial related experience.
- A degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
- Possession of TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Experience in applying IAVAs and other system updates.
- Support for laptop configurations for mission-critical operations.
- Administrative assistance for Splunk Cluster management.
- VM build and support capabilities.
- Administration of CentOS systems.
- Some familiarity with Windows Administration is beneficial.
- Collaboration with developers and operators to outline requirements and design effective solutions.
- Basic knowledge of network engineering, although the position has limited networking engineering responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Nutanix technology.
- Familiarity with tools such as Splunk, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, Airflow, GitLab, and Jira.
- Experience in supporting hardware installations, including servers, desktops, and network infrastructure.
- Experience in setting up storage solutions like network-attached storage or remote storage.
- Knowledge of implementing security best practices.
- Experience in maintaining an inventory of infrastructure hardware.
