Role Summary As a Deployment Engineer, you will be pivotal in deploying Cumulus products and services across customer sites, under the guidance of the General Manager for the Americas. Your role involves comprehensive management of site installations, training, maintenance, and testing to ensure that our solutions not only meet but exceed customer expectations. We are particularly interested in candidates who have a strong background in customer-facing roles and are skilled in writing detailed documentation.

Key Responsibilities Master and deploy the Cumulus Platform, advising customers and partners on best practices. Lead site pilots and full-scale implementations to maximize the Cumulus effect and customer satisfaction. Resolve customer issues from inception to resolution with high ownership and commitment. Conduct thorough end-user training to ensure optimal use of our products. Manage the preparation and shipment of equipment, ensuring configurations and testing are completed to specification. Actively engage in customer support throughout the deployment phases. Monitor and report on project progress, keeping all stakeholders informed. Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and QA teams to tailor solutions that meet precise needs. Create and update essential documentation, including process and training materials, to enhance user and trainer experience.

Ideal Candidate Location The ideal candidate would be located in Houston, Texas, which is central to many of our key client sites and projects. This location will facilitate easy travel and coordination with our major customers. Requirements Engineering Degree or relevant experience. 2-4 years of experience in software/SaaS deployment and user training. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to troubleshoot and service technical equipment. Flexible work schedule and willingness to travel up to 50% (domestically and internationally). Valid Passport.
