FHN Financial Back Office Operations is seeking a full time, experienced Operations Securities Clearing professional in our Memphis office.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Settlement Operations Specialist, you will work on a multifunction team responsible for a wide array of Settlement responsibilities.
You will be in frequent contact with Trading and Sales, brokers, and depositories such as DTCC while working to resolve open firm obligations and other inquires.
You will communicate with sales and trading with professionalism to resolve open firm obligations.
Continuously seek ways to educate and inform yourself about current policies, procedures, relevant industry news and products.
You will take on other Back Office Operations tasks as needed.
You will learn and help implement multiple Back Office systems.
You will be required to multitask and manage issues arising daily concerning trade settlements.
You will need to manage priorities to meet daily deadlines.
Must maintain perspective and composure in stressful situations
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree and/or related experience within financial service industry preferred.
Excellent organizational skills
Must be adept in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
Must be able to work with different personalities and have a true collaborator attitude.
Must have the ability to multitask and prioritize work.
