Job Summary:
Our Shipping & Receiving Clerk at Mirak Automotive Group in Arlington, Massachusetts is responsible for handling all incoming and outgoing shipments for the dealership. This individual will work in the Service & Parts Department and play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of parts and vehicles back to our customers. The Shipping & Receiving Clerk will report directly to the Parts Manager and will work closely with other members of the dealership team.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry. Compensation will be based on experience and skills. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unpack incoming shipments, verifying accuracy of contents and noting any damaged items
- Organize and stock incoming parts and supplies in designated areas
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring items are properly secured for transport
- Coordinate with vendors and carriers for pick-up and delivery of shipments
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in inventory control
- Assist in fulfilling parts orders for technicians and service departments
- Communicate with internal departments to prioritize and schedule incoming and outgoing shipments
- General housekeeping and maintenance of the shipping and receiving area
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in a shipping and receiving or warehouse role
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with inventory management systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
