Customer Service Clerk

Arlington, TX / On-Site

1st Shift- 6:00a- 4:00p

Position Overview:

The Customer Service Clerk assists the customer service manager in the flow of customer orders, keeping accurate files and databases, and other clerical duties while performing the following;

Primary Responsibilities:
Generally performs, with supervision, entry level production tasks which include:

  • Process purchase orders
  • Create new purchase requisitions
  • Order entry for customer orders
  • Obtain shipping information from customers, call in pick ups and coordinate with shipping/receiving department; provide tracking information to customers
  • Handle all customer contact databases
  • Daily correspondence for payment on past due invoices
  • Files correspondence and documents as necessary
  • Maintains files in an organized and accessible manner to include updating information, purging files on a regular basis and creating new filing systems as needed
  • Assist in various office tasks which may include but limited to; answering the phone, routing calls, sorting mail, inventorying office supplies and preparing orders for Site Leader to place.
  • All other duties as assigned


Minimum Requirements:

One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Manufacturing experience helpful.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent phone demeanor and maintain professionalism.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.

•Walk and climb stairs
•Use hands to remove or lift boxes
•Stretch and reach with arms extended
•Stoop and bend
•Temperature, dust, smell and noise are under normal chemical environment conditions

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
