As a Development Engineer in Mechanical Engineering, you will develop, design, and integrate components and tooling, relating to medical ultrasound transducers and the manufacturing of medical ultrasound transducers.Your role:•Responsible for the design, check and optimization, realization and integration, life-cycle management, and verification of components and tooling, relating to medical ultrasound transducers.•Develops the work with focus on user and business requirements, compliance, quality and cost. Develops high level and detailed designs in accordance with the product requirements and Philips reference architecture requirements.•Combines existing and/or purchased elements and parts into medical ultrasound transducers and manufacturing processes.•Finalizes the design and integration, and writes verification plans for the developed components and tooling. Tests, analyses and verifies the quality of the design.•Maintains an outside-in approach for the designs created.•Works collaboratively with R&D, Product Industrialization, and operations to develop new manufacturing process and improve current manufacturing processes.•Is responsible for delivering input in the planning process to the project manager.
