Job Title: Manufacturing Supervisor
Job Description:
The Manufacturing Supervisor will oversee a team of Production Workers, ensuring the quality of products, production yield, and timely deliveries. This is a 3rd shift position.
Your Role:
- Lead a team of direct reports within the operations team.
- Prepare financial forecasts and annual operating plans.
- Conduct performance appraisals.
- Drive Continuous Improvement in the assigned sector.
- Monitor team and individual performance.
- Optimize manufacturing performance metrics, including productivity, cost of non-quality, equipment utilization, and overall efficiency.
- Ensure operators are properly trained in processes and equipment used for product completion.
- Ensure operators are properly trained in Health & Safety related to processes, tools, and equipment used in product completion.
- Ensure work instructions and tools used are compliant with specifications and requirements.
- Implement Lean projects.
- Implement New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Industrial/Manufacturing/Engineering/Supply Chain leading roles.
- Ability to manage priorities under deadlines.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering, or comparable discipline.
- Proven performance management skills.
- Ability to conduct and present analysis of production and process data to support improvements.
- Knowledge of Lean, value stream, and process management to drive improvements and solve complex problems.
- Effective communication skills.
- Working knowledge of environmental, health, safety, and quality regulations.
