Title: Business Development Manager Duration: Full Time Permanent Location: Remote Client: Trigent Solutions Job Duties & Responsibilities Business development managers must be able to communicate with clients of all backgrounds and educational levels. Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies Building business relationships with current and potential clients Setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives Researching prospective accounts in target markets Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle Developing quotes and proposals for prospective clients Setting goals for the business development team and developing strategies to meet those goals Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions. Collaborating with sales and leadership to secure, retain, and grow accounts Creating informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients; maintaining a database of prospective client information Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients; closing sales and working with the client through the closing process Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short- and long-term business development plans. Must be comfortable juggling numerous clients, on- and off-site meetings, and deadlines. Must be comfortable managing a calendar and adjusting their schedule as needed.
