The position of Business Development Director is a key role within our team, responsible for exploring potential business opportunities, fostering relationships, and comprehending the customer's essential business strategies. Collaborating with a group of subject matter experts, you will devise and implement solutions to support the customer in achieving their business goals.
You will excel in attracting, engaging, and retaining employees, organizing effective sales competitions and rewards, establishing dynamic customer loyalty initiatives, and orchestrating impactful corporate events with unparalleled expertise.
We are currently seeking a Business Development Director to oversee operations in the Washington, DC region. This is a remote position, although candidates must reside in the greater DMV area.Requirements:
- Must be situated in the designated market due to the hybrid nature of the role, requiring office presence when not in the field.
- Minimum seven years of direct B2B sales experience targeting F500 companies - WITH NO MORE THAN 3 ROLES HELD IN THE LAST DECADE.
- Demonstrated track record in driving new business sales of marketing solutions or professional services * Proven success in sales by prospecting and expanding revenue within large accounts.
- Experience in high-value sales transactions (exceeding $250k per sale).
- Familiarity with diverse sales cycles ranging from three to twelve months.
- Compensation structured around incentivized commissions and bonuses.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is mandatory; Familiarity with web, SaaS, and mobile applications is advantageous.
